Right, so between the choir and the matinees, I end up in half the music venues in this city one way or another — rehearsing in them, queuing outside them, or dragging the girls to them after a cup of tea and a biscuit negotiation that nearly ended the altos. This is the list I keep for myself: the places where the music's worth the bus fare, and I'm including a Pepper Canister pew I've sat in since before some of you were born. Anyway, that's my tuppence worth.
