Front of house by day, ticket stub collector by night. These are the screens I actually go back to, not the ones that just look nice on Instagram (though some do that too). Prices are a vibe not a promise, they creep up when nobody's looking.

1Peckhamplex	95A Rye Lane, SE15 4ST	London	My actual local, sticky floors and all. Six quid for any film any seat, nobody's beaten that yet. Solid 9/10.
2Prince Charles Cinema	7 Leicester Place, WC2H 7BY	London	Singalongs, all-nighters, the lot. Membership pays for itself in one visit (do the maths, it's worth it). 8/10.
3Electric Cinema	191 Portobello Road, W11 2ED	London	Beds instead of seats, basically a nap with a plot. Gorgeous but your wallet will weep. 7/10.
4Genesis Cinema	93-95 Mile End Road, Whitechapel, E1 4UJ	London	Proper East End institution with a gallery and bar bolted on, great for a pre-film wine (free if you time the openings right). 8/10.
