Where I Escape

When my backlog starts to look like modern art, I go and stare at something simpler: grass, goals, lanes, floodlights. These are the places I sneak off to in London when product specs and Jira comments are screaming louder than a derby crowd. Some are full-on stadium epics, some are just big echoey spaces with good lines and better people‑watching. All of them have that weirdly calming hum of strangers caring way too much about something that isn’t work. [Also: if I miss the last tube again, it was probably Emirates’ fault.]
