Books I keep going back to

A list that's grown organically over the years, same as the choir folder that nobody ever thins out. Half these came recommended by the girls after a matinee, the other half I found hiding my own self in Dubray or on a wet Saturday wander round town. Fair warning, there's a bit of bias here for anything with a cracking second act, in a book same as on a stage. Anyway, that's my tuppence worth before we even start.
