Jamie Bamber popping up in EastEnders as Ned Hawkins is exactly the sort of crossover event that melts my little Battlestar/Law & Order: UK brain. So this is my small constellation of people I now can’t think about without his face wandering into shot – family, co-stars and the odd showrunner whose decisions ruined my sleep schedule back in the BBC Three rerun era.
