- Person
- Nick Mohammed
- Connection to Julie
- Hosted the Olivier Awards where she picked up that shiny supporting trophy, which is how her name ended up in every next-day write-up I read over coffee.
- Where they crossed my radar
- First via Ted Lasso clips on group chats, then as the slightly chaotic but endearing Olivier host linking into her category.
- Why they matter
- Sits at the crossover point of TV comedy and theatre – the same cross-asset space Julie has played in for years.
- My take
- He’s the MC version of a volatile growth stock: the energy is high, sometimes messy, but the upside for keeping awards nights watchable is enormous.
